Job summary

VC Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Senior Project Engineer to support Data Centre project execution, ensuring delivery within schedule, quality, and safety standards.

The role involves assisting the Project Manager, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing drawings, and monitoring progress on-site across Kedah and Penang. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering with 4–6 years in Construction/MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• 4-6 years’ experience in Construction, MEP, or related industrial projects.
• Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, or data center projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, construction sequencing, and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of construction/MEP projects.
• Coordinate site works with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance on site.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• Execute any other tasks, projects, or responsibilities assigned by the Superior to support departmental and organizational objectives
