As Senior Data and Digitalization Consultant you’ll join the talented Services team in Kuala Lumpur and will play a key role in shaping the digital future as we help influence our customers' further data and insight journey.

Your contributions:

You’ll work closely with our client’s IT Management Team to support the definition and implementation of IT change initiatives and support the day-to-day management of their business and technical applications portfolio.

As our Sr. Data and Digitalization Consultant you will:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of various industry-related data.
  • Implement procedures to protect data integrity and availability.
  • Handle our customers’ subsurface data to meet compliances and regulations.
  • Combine different data sources for comprehensive analysis and modeling.
  • Analyze data to support decision-making and present data insights through reports and visualizations.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and other departments to align data-related activities.
  • Guide customers and colleagues on data management practices and tools.

Who you are?

To thrive in this role we believe you share our passion for technology and interest in learning, and that you probably have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of oil and gas related data, including seismic, well and production data.
  • Proficiency in document management, procedures and documentations.
  • Basic knowledge of geology, geophysics, and petrophysics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools.
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL).
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R for data manipulation and automation.…

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret subsurface data to support decision-making.
