Job summary

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to accelerate quick commerce analytics across 16 markets. You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, deliver robust analyses, and lead the development of scalable SQL models and AI-powered insights.

This is a high-visibility role requiring independent work and strong communication skills. You will mentor junior analysts, own measurement frameworks for key initiatives, and build dashboards in Looker/Tableau

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics with strong SQL, Python, data modeling and data visualization.
• 3+ years supporting Quick Commerce/Operations/Supply Chain/Commercial teams (online or offline retail) or similar.
• Proficiency with advanced SQL (BigQuery or similar DWH) and Looker/Tableau; dbt/Airflow a plus.
• Solid background in statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Experience mentoring other analysts and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute robust analytical methodologies including causal impact modeling and ROI measurement for quick commerce investments.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand objectives, negotiate priorities, and present insights.
• Develop SQL models and transform large datasets into actionable insights using tools like BigQuery and dbt.
• Create dashboards and visualizations (Looker/Tableau) to support decision-making for leadership.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and drive a data-driven culture within the team.
• Identify AI-powered analytics opportunities and translate workflows into scalable tools.
