Job summary

ViTrox Corporation Berhad in Penang invites a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our cybersecurity capabilities and build a secure, resilient digital environment across ViTrox.

You will lead vulnerability assessments, manage IAM, and work with IT teams to embed security across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in security-focused roles, knowledge of ISO 27001/NIST, and hands-on cloud security experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a security-focused IT role with hands-on enterprise security experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and risk-based approaches.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and continuously improve ViTrox's cybersecurity programme across IT assets and environments.
• Manage enterprise security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits and risk assessments to identify and address security gaps.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including root cause analysis, remediation and incident reporting.
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and work with IT teams to embed security practices throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Drive cybersecurity awareness and stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies and industry best practices.
