Monroe Consulting Group, partnering with a leading IT organisation, seeks a Cyber Threat & Vulnerability Analyst (Senior Executive) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will support CTVM programme execution, vulnerability assessments, threat monitoring, and remediation coordination to strengthen the organisation's cybersecurity posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience within Cybersecurity, IT Security, Vulnerability Management, SOC or related domains.
• Exposure to Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), threat management, or security monitoring environments is advantageous.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CEH, ITIL, CISA, EC-Council Certifications or other security/vulnerability management credentials are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, analysing, developing frameworks, and deploying the Cyber Threat & Vulnerability Management programme.
• Coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) exercises with vendors, conduct scans, prioritise findings, and track remediation activities.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware, software, and cloud assets with internal technology teams.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and support remediation through patching, configuration updates, code fixes, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support implementation of cybersecurity policies and controls to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
• Develop policies, procedures, and operating models for cybersecurity and vulnerability management activities.
• Monitor and report cybersecurity KPIs and KRIs through technical and management dashboards.
• Provide technical support and security advisory services to stakeholders.
