Job summary

Malaysian National Reinsurance Berhad is seeking a cyber threat hunter to proactively identify and respond to potential threats across endpoints, networks, identities and applications. You will analyze security telemetry, develop detection capabilities and support cyber resilience and incident response efforts.

The role collaborates with the SOC, Infrastructure and Risk teams, aligns with regulatory requirements including RMiT, and contributes to governance and security improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience with security monitoring and threat hunting is preferred.
• Professional certifications in security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting across the Group's IT environment.
• Analyze logs from SIEM/EDR/NDR and identify anomalous activities.
• Develop and tune detection rules and playbooks to reduce false positives.
