Job summary

Bybit seeks an experienced STR / Investigations Manager to oversee financial crime investigations and the STR/SAR process. You will ensure high‑standard investigations, timely regulatory reporting, and defensible analysis across multiple jurisdictions.

You will collaborate with MLROs, AML Operations, Transaction Monitoring and other Compliance teams to address emerging typologies, gaps, and remediation efforts, while guiding investigators to improve reporting quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AML or financial crime investigations.
• Strong AML/CFT knowledge and regulatory reporting expectations.
• Experience leading or overseeing investigators or STR/SAR analysts.
• Ability to assess complex transaction patterns and provide defensible conclusions.
• Experience with transaction monitoring, case management and blockchain analytics tools.
• Crypto/fintech/payments industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end financial crime investigation and STR/SAR process, from case escalation and investigation through review and regulatory filing.
• Review and approve investigations, STR/SAR narratives and supporting analysis for regulatory compliance.
• Establish investigation and STR/SAR standards, procedures, quality controls and escalation thresholds.
• Ensure regulatory filings are completed accurately and within jurisdictional deadlines.
• Ensure investigations are supported by transaction data, customer information, on‑chain analysis and other evidence.
• Identify high‑risk cases and escalate material matters to the MLRO.
• Monitor investigation and STR/SAR quality, volumes and KPIs.
• Provide guidance and training to investigators to improve reporting quality.
• Collaborate with MLROs, AML Operations and Transaction Monitoring teams on emerging typologies.
