A leading banking institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional for credit evaluation roles. Responsibilities include evaluating credit risk using the 5C's framework, verifying the accuracy of documents, and executing credit decisions for retail secured products. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with organizational policies and assist branches with loan applications. This dynamic position also involves fraud detection, process improvement feedback, and other assigned duties as necessary.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate credit risk and customer creditworthiness using the 5C’s framework.
• Verify accuracy of data and compliance of submitted documents.
• Execute credit decisions for retail secured loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with Group Policy and statutory guidelines.
• Assist branches with loan application guidelines.
• Detect and raise fraud awareness.
• Provide feedback for process improvements.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Description du poste

• To perform in depth credit evaluation using common framework of 5C’s (capacity, capital, collateral, conditions and character) in assessing credit risk, customer creditworthiness for prudent credit decision.
• To perform credit verification on the accuracy of data entry and income/supporting documents submitted comply with requirement
• To execute credit decision for loan/financing application of retail secured product as per assigned DLA matrix within stipulated TAT/SLA.
• To comply with Group Policy and Guidelines, Statutory Guidelines and Bank’s standard procedure and practices
• To guide and assist the branches/sales on their loan application and reference of guidelines
• Fraud detection and awareness
• Contribute feedback on process improvement to improve credit quality , efficiency and service standards
• Perform other duties and assignments as and when required by TL, Credit Evaluation, Head, Retail Credit and GCB Chief Credit Officer
