Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad seeks an experienced credit policy and analytics professional to review and validate consumer credit policy for compliance with BNM guidelines and internal risk appetite. You will automate policy rules within credit systems for timely deployment and oversee portfolio performance through analytics, identifying risks and opportunities.

The role requires collaboration with risk, business, operations and compliance teams to balance growth with prudent risk management

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Actuarial Science, Finance or related discipline.
• Preferably 5 years of experience in retail/business banking analytics.
• Strong knowledge of credit products, operations, policies and finance practices.

Responsibilities

• Review & validate new credit policy for consumer products to ensure compliance with BNM guidelines and risk appetite.
• Implement and automate credit policy rules in credit systems to ensure timely deployment.
• Oversee portfolio performance by reviewing analytics and proposing strategies to maintain healthy risk levels.
• Conduct portfolio studies to evaluate health and identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure credit decisions are data-driven, compliant, and support portfolio quality and profitability.
• Collaborate with risk, business, operations and compliance to optimize policy and monitor emerging risks.
