The Senior Contracts Executive will manage the full spectrum of contract-related work, ensuring efficient and effective contract administration, cost control, and procurement processes. The role demands a high level of independence, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and subcontracts.
- Monitor budgets, track variations, and manage change orders.
- Assist with tender preparation, bid evaluations, and vendor coordination.
- Identify risks and ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet contractual deliverables.
- Support the preparation and resolution of claims and disputes.
- Undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, M&E Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract administration, cost control, and procurement.
- Strong understanding of contract law and the Code of Conduct (COC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
