Job summary

cbs APAC in Malaysia seeks a Senior FP&A expert to lead budgeting, forecasting and analytics projects using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). You will design end-to-end planning models and support financial consolidation with SAP Group Reporting.

You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders, translate financial needs into technical SAC solutions, and guide testing, deployment and user adoption in a consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• Strong FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Hands-on SAC Planning experience and SAP Group Reporting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance data models.
• Experience in client-facing consulting with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

cbs is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) to support initiatives around BDC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Group Reporting. The role focuses on helping clients design and implement end-to-end budgeting, planning, and financial analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on FP&A processes and best practices for enterprise planning and budgeting.
• Design and implement end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and planning solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Support financial consolidation and reporting scenarios using SAP Group Reporting.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define planning models.
• Implement planning models aligned with financial structures.
• Translate finance and controlling requirements into SAC planning and analytics solutions.
• Support integration of SAC with SAP S/4HANA and other relevant financial data sources.
• Contribute to solution architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise analytics strategies.
• Provide guidance during testing, deployment, and user adoption phases.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting for SAP & NON-SAP Entities.
• Experience implementing end-to-end planning and budgeting solutions in SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance and finance data models.
• Experience in client-facing consulting roles with strong stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on finance transformation or analytics initiatives.
• Knowledge of enterprise performance management and financial consolidation processes.
• Ability to conduct business workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in Project Management / Presales.
