Job summary

cbs APAC is seeking a SAP Techno-Functional Senior Consultant / Manager to advance from ABAP/SLO/LSMW background into a broader functional role across SAP modules. You will lead data transformation projects including SAP S/4HANA migrations, own concepts, extraction/mapping, data validation and cutover planning, and mentor a small SLT team.

Qualifications

• 8 years of SAP experience with ABAP or related modules.
• Hands-on data migration and transformation experience.
• Experience leading data migration projects in SAP S/4HANA contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead data transformation projects including ERP mergers and SAP S/4HANA migrations.
• Own data migration concepts, extraction/mapping, validation, and cutover planning.
• Develop functional SAP module expertise and process configurations.
• Partner with customers during workshops and presentations.
• Lead a small SLT data migration team.
• Drive digital migration initiatives across international projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Become an expert in cbs ET Transformer® for SAP S/4HANA® to lead cutting‑edge digital migration and landscape transformation projects.
• Take ownership of data transformation projects, including ERP system mergers, carveouts, conversions, and SAP S/4HANA Selective Data Migration.
• Gain certification in a specific functional SAP module to enhance your expertise.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of SAP business processes and configurations.
• Perform SAP data transformation and harmonization at a functional level, extending beyond standard ETL responsibilities.
• Apply your skills to execute complex data transformation initiatives and enable smooth transitions to SAP S/4HANA.

Requirements

• ABAP developers interested in transitioning into a Techno‑Functional Consultant role are encouraged to apply.
• 8 years of relevant SAP experience.
• Strong ambition to develop both functional expertise (SAP applications and business processes) and technical capabilities.
• Experience in data migration projects, including:
  • Creation of data migration concepts
  • Extraction and mapping rules
  • Data validation and reconciliation
  • Cutover planning
• Hands‑on knowledge of ABAP programming and/or SAP data migration tools such as SLO, LSMW, BODS, or LTMC.
• Good understanding of SAP data models and SAP object dependencies.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers during workshops.
• Leading a small data migration (SLT) team.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to work in an international project environment.
