Job summary

Armani Hallson KLCC Sdn Bhd invites an experienced Project Manager to oversee property development and construction projects from planning through completion. The role demands strong construction knowledge and a solid grasp of main contractor operations, costing, claims and contract administration.

Based in Kuala Lumpur or Penang, you will lead planning, track progress, coordinate with consultants and authorities, manage budgets, risks and changes, and report to Management.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Strong understanding of main contractor operations, construction costing, claims, variations and contract administration.
• Good knowledge of property development and building construction.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with consultants, authorities and contractors.
• Willing to be based in Kuala Lumpur / Penang and travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project planning, construction progress, quality, cost and timelines.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, local authorities, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costing, tender pricing, BQ, variation orders and contractor claims.
• Identify and resolve technical, site and contractual issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet approved drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to Management.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
