Job summary

Eastspring Investments in Kuala Lumpur seeks a skilled PR and Corporate Communications professional to support media relations, events, and both internal and external communications, ensuring messaging aligns with corporate guidelines.

You will coordinate AIR notifications to unitholders, maintain corporate profiles, assist in video messaging, and manage spokesperson engagements, crises, and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role.
• Experience in media relations, event management, and corporate communications is preferred.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Good organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and corporate communication policies is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with media monitoring or content tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media and coordinate media outreach.
• Coordinate corporate events, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
• Draft and coordinate internal announcements and external messaging.
• Coordinate timely notification of AIR to unitholders and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and update corporate profiles and presentation materials.
• Support planning and production of internal and corporate videos.
• Assist in managing spokesperson engagements and preparation of briefing materials.
• Support crisis communication plans and drills, including holding statements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely execution of communications initiatives.
