Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale our cloud stack. You will build and operate systems powering billions of requests, improve observability, and drive automation as we expand.

In a fully remote setup, you will work with modern AWS services (ECS/EKS/Fargate, RDS, Redis), Terraform, Docker, and container orchestration, shaping the future of our real-time SERP API platform. You will mentor engineers, write runbooks, and design disaster recovery processes, while

Qualifications

• Deep production experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS/Fargate, RDS, Redis).
• Strong observability and incident response background.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve observability across the entire stack: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards.
• Architect and operate browser cloud infrastructure: containerized browsers, session isolation, crash recovery, autoscaling.
• Handle websocket connections, CDP tunnels, and TCP‑level tuning for browser automation.
• Write and maintain Terraform for all infrastructure. Everything is code.
• Tune autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Expand to new regions as we grow.
• Experiment with Lambdas, new cloud providers for custom scraping needs.
• Debug production issues: memory leaks, zombie processes, network failures.
