Job summary

Prudential plc in Malaysia is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own and evolve our cloud services on Azure and GCP. You will build scalable, secure, and reusable platforms, and apply AI-assisted, spec-driven development to accelerate delivery.

You should have 5+ years of software or cloud engineering experience, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Django, and Infrastructure as Code, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud platform services end to end, from design to deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.

• Apply AI-assisted and spec-driven development methods to improve engineering productivity and service delivery.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platform architectures and shared services.
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to improve self-service capabilities, developer experience, and translation of business needs into technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Expertise in Django, Infra as Code, Agentic workflows, Kubernetes, internal developer platforms, and cloud/web services development
• Experience with AI-assisted, agentic, and spec-driven development approaches, including building infrastructure agentic workflows
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate business objectives into clear technical requirements
