Supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contracts, construction drawings, procedures, and method statements.

Inspect and monitor each stage of construction works including piling, structural and architectural works, external works, and infrastructure works.

Regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of works, preparing and updating daily progress reports.

Attend all site and technical meetings.

Ensure that works are carried out in compliance with local authority requirements.

Conduct QA/QC and regular inspections to ensure all works are completed with good workmanship and meet standards set by the Architect/Engineer and the Employer.

Identify all outstanding works and problems encountered on site and propose solutions.

Ensure that materials used are in accordance with contract specifications.

Assist in site valuations by verifying contractors' work done in the progress claims.

Verify and document all testing performed on site materials and systems.

Maintain all relevant forms, documents, correspondences, and provide daily work records.

Requirements:

A recognized Diploma in Architectural, Civil, or Building discipline or registration with the Board of Engineers.

Minimum 10 years of experience in a Main Contractor or Developer role as Site Manager or Project Manager supervising architectural, structural, and civil works in construction projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Management software.

Ability to read construction drawings to carry out relevant inspections.

Good knowledge of building materials.

Ability to work well with others and independently in carrying out daily tasks.

A COW's role is to represent the client's interests on a construction site, ensuring the quality of materials and workmanship meet the design specifications.

Experience in high-rise and infrastructure projects is a plus.

Proficiency in using a dumpy level is essential.
