Job summary

Schott Glass (M) Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Cleanroom Facilities Manager to oversee ISO Class 6/7 operations, enforce contamination controls, and monitor environmental conditions in Kedah. You will lead RCA, data-driven improvements, and capital budgeting for cleanroom assets.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, yield enhancement related to contamination, and collaboration with QA, EHS, and production teams to ensure quality and compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Cleanroom Facilities Management or similar role.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical device or high-tech manufacturing environments preferred.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage and Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, project management, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cleanroom operations to ensure ISO Class 6 & 7 compliance and customer requirements.
• Enforce cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
• Monitor cleanroom environmental conditions (temp, RH, particles).
• Lead corrective/preventive actions for out-of-control or out-of-spec conditions.
• Lead RCA and problem-solving for FM contamination.
• Drive continuous improvement for cleanroom performance and efficiency.
• Support yield improvement related to contamination control.
• Participate in new product introductions, facility expansions, and ramp-ups.
• Coordinate cleanroom-related activities (machine moves, hook-ups, modifications).
• Collaborate with Production, QA, EHS, and cross-functional teams.
• Support internal and external audits and manage budgets for operations.
