Job summary

The Fourth Construction Co.,Ltd. of CEFOC is seeking a Civil Construction Site Manager to oversee data center and cleanroom projects in Malaysia.

You will review drawings, brief teams, supervise safety and quality, and manage schedules with the main contractor and local authorities. You should bring hands-on site construction management experience and knowledge of Malaysian building standards; Mandarin language ability is advantageous for head-office alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on site construction management experience. Prior working experience in cleanroom or data center projects is highly preferred.
• Familiar with civil construction processes; knowledge of Malaysian building standards is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills. Able to speak Mandarin is a big plus (for alignment with China head office).

Responsibilities

• Conduct civil engineering site management, drawing review, technical briefing, construction quality, schedule and safety control for data center and cleanroom projects.
• Coordinate with main contractor, sub-contractors, supervisors and local authorities; resolve on-site civil technical issues.
• Prepare civil construction method statements, take-off quantities, variation orders and submission documents.
• Coordinate cross-discipline construction with MEP, clean finish and other trades.
• Ensure construction compliance with local building codes and project specifications.
