Job summary

GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. in Southeast Asia invites an experienced Lead Engineer to shape and improve CI pipelines and local development tooling.

You will collaborate with Grabbers across teams, influence technical direction, and drive adoption of Go and Python in a service-oriented architecture. The role reports to the Engineering Manager II in Singapore and operates across Southeast Asia with a Petaling Jaya office; join a culture of collaboration, innovation, and mutual support while

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficient in Go and Python.
Strong experience with CI/CD and GitLab CI.
Knowledge of Nix, including build isolation and reproducibility.
Experience with AWS and observability tooling (DataDog, Kibana, Grafana).
Experience creating detailed technical documentation.
Experience troubleshooting issues with users.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine GitLab CI pipelines and the Go and Python tools they depend on; improve compatibility and efficiency for service-oriented repos.
Enhance tools for local environment setup and reproducible builds with Go and Nix.
Engage with users to gather requirements, propose improvements, and provide technical support.
Collaborate with the team to ensure tools align with evolving project needs and industry standards.
Develop solutions to improve CI tools usability.
