Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Payment & Settlement Officer to ensure accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, and reporting of card-related transactions. You will support internal and external stakeholders with data and documentation requests, manage card scheme settlements, regulatory payments, and quarterly reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with strong Excel skills, analytical ability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in card operations, reconciliation, or financial reporting is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and Power Query.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process card-related transactions and reconciliation.
• Manage settlement processes, billings and invoices from card schemes.
• Execute regulatory payments and ensure accurate ledger updates.
• Prepare quarterly card scheme reports for Visa and Mastercard.
• Fulfill merchant statements as per SLAs.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects.
