Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Buyer III to plan, source, purchase and expedite materials from approved local and international suppliers. The role ensures on-time delivery and quality while negotiating pricing and terms.

The position emphasizes supplier scorecards, inventory control, cost savings, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years with a bachelor’s degree or 8 years with a diploma in electrical/ mechanical or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MRP systems is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and supplier negotiations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, buy, source and expedite materials from approved vendors locally and overseas.
• Ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Maintain and execute supplier scorecard programs.
• Drive inventory management, cost reduction and material availability.
