In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Work with suppliers for expedite, de-expedite and cancellations of transactions that provide optimal total value for National Instruments.
- Manage and foster relationships with NI’s supply base and help drive resolutions to conflicts including quality, cost, delivery, and lead time issues.
- Participate in activities around new supplier assessments, disengagements, performance improvement plans, formal supplier reviews, and cost reduction opportunities.
- Additional assignments shall be given depending on business needs.
Who You Are:
- Someone who executes commodity purchase strategies through purchase requisitions.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes as they relate to the supply chain.
- Good computer skills related to ERP technologies.
- Expertise in required disciplines (i.e. Excel, Oracle, Agile, APS, Rapid Response (RR), Kinaxis, etc.).
- Knowledge of business fundamentals related to materials management and finance.
- Ability to work positively with the supply base and potentially multiple organizations internally to NI to drive collaborative supply chain solutions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Creates a continuous learning and developing environment to achieve the most efficient and effective total work systems.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- BS/BSE level degree in business, supply chain, or related discipline.
- Preferred more than 5 years of experience.
