We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in business development within the software industry. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities across various sectors. Your expertise will drive our success in delivering innovative solutions to diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for engaging clients across multiple industries, identifying opportunities, and building long-term relationships.
  2. Opportunity Identification: Continuously research and monitor market opportunities, bids, and RFPs that align with our expertise and solutions.
  3. Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their needs and position our offerings effectively.
  4. Proposal Development: Lead and collaborate with our pre-sales engineering team on the preparation and submission of compelling proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  5. Negotiations: Manage contract negotiations, including terms, pricing, and service-level agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with industry standards.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, legal, and project management, to deliver winning solutions.
  7. Market Insights: Stay current with industry trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and adaptation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful business development or consulting experience, preferably within the software industry.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute effective market strategies and create opportunities in a competitive environment.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proposal Expertise: Experience in preparing and presenting detailed, compliant, and persuasive proposals.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Good to have: Consulting Expertise, background in consulting with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients is a plus.
  • A degree in computer science, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary: Basic + Commission + Performance-based bonuses.
