Job description

Seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with a hunter mindset to drive sales, build client relationships, and identify new opportunities. Perfect for a go-getter passionate about growth!

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve personal Operating Income target: 3 times cost to the company.
  2. Quotation:
    1. 40% Quotation Strike Rate.
    2. Promptly send quotations to clients and maintain a very close follow-up on all quotations sent out.
  3. Weekly Sales Visit Plan & Target:
    1. Prepare Weekly Sales Visit Plan and enter details of visit in GAC Sales system.
    2. Target and secure new clients: Secure 4 new clients per month.
  4. Credit Approvals:
    1. Ensure that credit approvals are in place for all credit clients handled by sales team. Assist Finance department in maintaining the receivables from credit accounts within agreed terms.
  5. Actively pass-on sales leads:
    1. Actively pass-on sales leads to sales teams within GAC Malaysia and overseas GAC Companies and agents. Similarly, try to capitalize on all sales leads and convert them into business.
Job Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma in any field or equivalent; a Diploma in Logistics/Import & Export/Transportation would be an advantage.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in air / sea / road forwarding services is desirable.

Possess own transport with Malaysian driving license and willing to travel when required.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Computer Literacy in Windows environment. Software knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
