A leading company in the healthcare sector is seeking a Business Analyst to drive data analytics efforts, providing actionable insights for business strategies. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer, product, and pricing strategies, leveraging their expertise in commercial analytics to support decision-making. This is a pivotal role requiring a strong analytical mindset, proven experience in data analysis, and the ability to present recommendations effectively to senior management.
In this role, you will lead data analytics, overseeing data collection, data organization, and data interpretation processes. You’ll be key in providing insights that shape business strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. This role involves assisting in the development and execution of customer, product and pricing strategies, driving sales growth.
Job Responsibilities
Lead commercial analytics across customer segments, product performance, pricing effectiveness, and sales channels.
Conduct customer behavior analysis to identify buying patterns, churn risk, and growth opportunities.
Analyze product sales performance, lifecycle trends, and SKU productivity to optimize portfolio management.
Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition trends, and performance against KPIs.
Build and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into sales, customer metrics, and product performance.
Develop forecasting models and scenario analysis to support planning and strategic decisions.
Present clear insights and recommendations to senior management to support commercial strategies and operational improvements.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection, transformation, and reporting processes.
Job Requirements
Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business or commercial analytics, preferably within wholesale, large retail, online retail or supermarket environments.
Strong expertise in customer, sales, and product analysis.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with Python or R for data modeling and trend analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver insights independently.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of key commercial metrics (e.g., GMV, margin, churn, retention, CLTV).
Nice to Have:
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong communication and storytelling ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with CRM and sales pipeline analytics.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
