Job description

About the Role

To translate customer needs into business and functional specifications for medium size/complexity/system risk initiatives ensuring customers' business needs are met. To contribute to the company, department and tribe strategy by integrating a broad range of ideas regarding business needs. To manage the relation with the business stakeholders in order to improve their business processes, manage their expectations and meet their needs. As part of Agile, be business advisor in the squad.

Education

University degree in Economics, Management, Sales Engineer or equivalent.

Post-graduate in Management / Marketing / MBA or equivalent is an asset.

Experience

Typically requires at least 5 years' experience, preferably in similar roles and/or industries.

Experience in the Telecommunication environment is an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and evaluate business needs and define detailed business and functional requirements for initiatives/requests by working in close liaison with internal stakeholders and customers.
  2. Validate proposed solutions to business challenges in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with functional and technical solutions.
  3. Provide relevant business and functional knowledge during all phases of the implementation and resolve business problems, recognizing technical constraints and applying the 'ADOPT' principle.
  4. Produce and maintain conceptual models and business processes in accordance with the adopted methodology.
  5. Conduct presentations/demo's on process enhancements and/or alternatives. Approve and conduct training session on business solutions in order to facilitate the adoption by the end-users.
  6. Understand technological trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to guide and advise business stakeholders accordingly.
  7. Contribute to the business process (re)design and documentation when needed.
  8. Interface with the product owner and the other squad members (typically software engineers and testers) in order to secure the end-to-end delivery of the solutions to the business stakeholders.
  9. Supports business users on deployed/live business processes and tools.
