Job summary

VML in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Account Executive to provide day-to-day support to assigned clients, ensuring quality materials are delivered on time and on budget.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in strategic planning, delivering tactical and account-wide support to strengthen client relationships and growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Communications.
• At least 2 years advertising agency experience.
• Solid understanding of general marketing practices.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution and financial management of assigned accounts.
• Attend and facilitate status meetings with clients.
• Contribute to marketing planning and campaign execution.
• Monitor client and agency budgets including campaign costs.
• Act as liaison between departments and client to ensure timely project completion.

SUMMARY

The Senior Account Executive provides day-to-day support/services to assigned clients. The incumbent is responsible for delivering quality materials on time and on budget. The Senior Account Executive supports and collaborates with team members on tactical and strategic aspects of the account.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountability for the day-to-day execution and financial management of assigned accounts.
• Attend and facilitate (as appropriate) all status meetings, client meetings and client calls.
• Participate in marketing planning and execution of operational/tactical aspects of campaigns.
• Monitor both client and agency budgets, including oversight of campaign costs.
• Act as a liaison between all departments and the client to ensure a timely completion of projects.
• Any other reasonable duties, functions or responsibilities assigned to you from time to time.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Thorough understanding of agency functions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills.
• Detail oriented, with excellent follow through skills.
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a diploma degree; Marketing, Business or Communications degree preferred.
