Job description

Recruiting senior civil (architectural, structural, infrastructure) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Process BIM modellers who will be responsible for developing BIM models, 5D quantity take-offs, and information input for projects such as water treatment plants, transportation projects, hydropower stations, thermal power stations, etc. They will provide high-quality and efficient model and data support to ensure successful project BIM delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Independently complete BIM models using Revit or Bentley software, ensuring model quality meets project requirements.
2. Analyze work materials for modeling and communicate technical requirements with the BIM coordinator. Complete modeling tasks efficiently within project timelines.
3. Coordinate multi-disciplinary models, perform civil clash detection, propose optimization solutions, and generate clash reports.
4. Use models to produce drawings for field guidance, perform 5D quantity take-offs, manage data integration, and implement VDC applications based on technical documents.
5. Participate in VDC meetings, report model progress and issues, and record solutions proposed by clients.
6. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to clarify technical requirements and maintain reusable model data structures.
7. Establish and enhance project-specific BIM standards, including component libraries, naming conventions, and data protocols.
8. Optimize BIM standards to improve technology implementation and process efficiency.
9. Provide technical mentorship to junior modellers through training and knowledge sharing.
10. Deliver BIM software support and resolve complex issues for project teams.
11. Explore emerging BIM technologies through testing and adoption to enhance productivity.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal team members.
2. Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, Navisworks, and at least one Bentley software (OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, Open Building Designer, OpenPlant Modeller).
3. Civil engineering or MEP-related educational background, holding a bachelor’s degree.
4. At least 3 years of BIM modelling experience; design or construction experience is a plus.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, routines, and standards.
