Ensure all equipment are in good working condition, evaluation completed as per instruction and schedule, and daily or shift products meet schedule. Accountable to Equipment Engineering Manager.
Do whatever it takes to meet or exceed customer expectations in compliance with the Quality Policy.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize unscheduled downtime.
Supervise the delivery line (DL) to meet daily or shift volume. Improve processes and equipment to ensure high performance and optimize cycle time.
Maintain and improve yield on current and new products.
Ensure quality products are manufactured as per schedule.
Maintain compliance with ISO requirements, company rules & regulations, and applicable codes.
Derive continual improvement. Practice risk-based thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior.
Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, cleanroom, and housekeeping guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering, preferably majoring in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Software.
Experience working with semiconductor wafer backend manufacturing equipment such as coating, die saw, scribe, and cleave equipment.
Understanding of electronics; knowledge in photonics and optical transceivers is an advantage.
Good computer literacy, communication skills, and ability to report information and data.
Willing to work 12-hour shifts, work independently, and support teams as needed.
Responsible for tooling modification, parts maintenance, and workshop functions.
Responsible for equipment setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement in the specific technical area.
Assist engineers and perform duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
