Become a key player in our financial operations as a
Senior Banking Analyst on our Accounts Receivable team! We're looking for a
detail-oriented financial analyst with a deep understanding of banking operations to
ensure financial accuracy and optimize cash flow. If you thrive on complex reconciliations and process improvement, this is the perfect role for you.
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Banking Analyst, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial transactions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile all incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely posting to customer accounts.
- Lead daily banking operations, including processing lockbox, wire/ACH, and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with the AR and AP team to efficiently resolve unapplied or misapplied payments.
- Develop and maintain robust reporting tools to track cash flow, payment trends, and variances.
- Serve as a key point of contact with banking partners and internal stakeholders on payment-related matters.
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all cash receipts are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Assist internal & external Audit queries, acting as the point of contact between the audit team and the department.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance cash application efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide support and training on banking/AR processes.
What You will Need to Succeed:
You're an experienced and meticulous professional with a strong financial background. We're looking for someone who brings:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a CPA or MBA is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, banking operations, or financial analysis, preferably within a large organization.
- Strong knowledge of banking platforms, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and AR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Point If You Have:
- Experience with international payments and foreign currency reconciliation.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems.
- Exposure to process automation tools.
- Working knowledge of AR metrics such as DSO and aging analysis.
