Responsibilities:

1. Develop high-quality backend using NodeJS with best code practices
2. Maintain production stability and resolve critical issues to minimize stability impacts
3. Analyze and propose code improvement opportunities for system enhancement
4. Support change requests from cross-functional teams
5. Mentor and guide junior developers on development best practices
6. Review pull requests from peers

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields with strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
2. 3+ years of full-time backend engineering experience
3. Experience in Backend Development, e.g., NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, Postman, etc.
4. Experience with databases, e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
5. Experience in automation workflows, e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, etc.
6. Passionate about programming and solving problems independently

Good to have:

1. Relevant projects or portfolio showcasing skills
2. Experience with GCP / AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code practices
3. Experience in TDD / BDD methodologies
4. Experience in technical documentation
