Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years designing and delivering complex distributed software systems.
• 5+ years in lead architect or senior architecture roles.
• Expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, microservices, and highly available systems.
• Experience with cloud-native, edge, or hybrid architectures for mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of SECS/GEM, GEM300, OPC-UA, MQTT, REST, and gRPC.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture strategy, standards, and reference designs for factory automation platforms.
• Lead the design of scalable, highly available, and mission-critical solutions spanning MES, AMHS, robotics, equipment automation, and Industrial IoT.
• Drive technology evaluation and adoption of AI/ML, edge computing, and intelligent automation.
• Establish interoperability frameworks, integration patterns, and communication standards across manufacturing systems.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across multiple programs and sites.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology investments with business priorities.
• Mentor engineers and architects to elevate architectural excellence.
