Job summary

Hytech is seeking a hands-on Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions across Customer Service and Business Operations. The ideal candidate should have strong UiPath development experience, Python and API integration skills, and an understanding of AI Agentic Automation.

This role requires end-to-end ownership of automation projects, with a strong focus on operational reliability, business continuity, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in RPA or automation development.
• Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end automation projects.
• Strong practical experience with Python, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience with exception handling, error recovery, monitoring, and business continuity planning.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English for collaboration with regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify automation opportunities, and design practical technical solutions.
• Independently manage the full automation lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, UAT, production deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and integrate automation workflows using UiPath, Python, REST APIs, and other suitable technologies.
• Design reliable automation solutions with proper exception handling, monitoring, fallback mechanisms, and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve automation stability and performance.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers to enable AI-driven automation by integrating RPA workflows with AI Agents through APIs and Tool Calling.
• Proactively improve operational efficiency, automation costs, and customer experience.

About the Role

• Working knowledge of Python, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.


• Experience with exception handling, error recovery, monitoring, and business continuity planning.


• Basic understanding of AI Agents, LLMs, Tool Calling, and Agentic Automation.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English for collaboration with regional teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with CRM, Zendesk, or customer service platforms.


• Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, or KYC operations.


• Familiarity with UiPath REFramework, queue-based processing, or cloud services.


• Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or AI Agent integration projects.
