We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in industrial automation systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing automation processes and ensuring smooth operation across various production areas. This position will either be based in Malaysia or Indonesia.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Minimize production downtime by ensuring all automation systems operate efficiently.
2. Modify and update PLC programs and SCADA as requested to meet operational needs.
3. Support the Project Manager in upgrading, improving, and implementing new automation systems and projects.
4. Perform regular checks and repairs on instrumentation and control devices.
5. Assist in commissioning and system testing for new automation equipment and processes as needed.
6. Lead the automation aspects of key projects, including plant relocations, new equipment setups, and system improvements.
7. Maintain and monitor the calibration schedule for key automation equipment.
8. Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards through regular audits and checks on critical systems.
9. Develop, execute, and maintain calibration programs for key instrumentation and automation equipment.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years working experience in electrical and project management, preferably in food industries with FSSC 22000 and HACCP certified manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge in PLC Programming or PCS7.
4. Experienced in managing Automation Control System. Familiar with SIEMENS PCS7 SCADA System, SIEMENS S7-400 Series and 1200 Series, and Siemens Product.
5. Possess knowledge on TIA Portal and Wincc Unified will be added value.
6. Possess knowledge in Instrumentation, such as Load cell, temperature and pressure sensor will be added value.
