Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang is forming a new Engineering Design Centre and seeks an experienced tester to design and implement automated test solutions. You will develop test applications using C++, LabVIEW and TestStand and work with Design, PCB, Firmware and DFT teams to optimize performance.

With 4+ years in functional test development, you will lead efforts, mentor peers, and contribute to hardware integration and test instrumentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in functional test development/automated test systems
• Hands-on C++, LabVIEW and TestStand expertise
• Knowledge of hardware integration, circuit design and test instrumentation
• Experience with NI STS is an advantage
• Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering or related field
• Strong debugging and technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate automated hardware and software test solutions
• Develop test applications using C++, LabVIEW and TestStand
• Drive test coverage, yield improvement, cycle-time reduction and tester uptime
• Apply GR&R, Cp/Cpk, DOE and root-cause analysis to optimise test performance
• Collaborate with Design, PCB, Firmware and DFT teams
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership
