Job summary

PKF Malaysia is seeking to recruit top practitioners to join our Management Team as part of our growth strategy in West Malaysia. We are looking for specialists in audit and tax who are ready to take on a management role.

The role involves liaising with clients, ensuring audits adhere to standards, supervising junior staff, and managing IPO engagements and due diligence across various industries. Travel to other locations in Malaysia and beyond may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant audit experience.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; pursuing ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Australia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, ISQM, Malaysia Tax Act and Companies Act 2016.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients on audit assignments across portfolios.
• Ensure audits comply with auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards in Malaysia.
• Audit various industries and draft auditor's reports.
• Conduct field audits for a portfolio of clients.
• Supervise junior audit team and guide them through assignments.
• Collaborate with Managers to meet reporting deadlines.
• Provide financial assurance services and manage IPO engagements and due diligence.
