Job summary

PKF Malaysia is seeking experienced audit professionals to join the Management Team in West Malaysia. The role involves liaising with clients, conducting field audits, and supervising junior staff across multiple industries.

Travel within Malaysia and abroad may be required, with emphasis on compliance with local and international standards. The ideal candidate has a 2-year track record in audit, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and professional certificates (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Australia).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with exposure on related job scope.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or in the progress of obtaining recognized professional accounting certificates in Malaysia.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging workloads.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in IFRS, ISA, IF QM, Income Tax Act 1967, Companies Act 2016 and Capital Market Services Act 2007 in Malaysia.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently & possess high integrity.
• Will be required to travel on assignment to other locations in Malaysia and other countries as required.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients on audit assignments across diverse portfolios and industries.
• Ensure audits comply with auditing standards and reporting standards in Malaysia.
• Draft auditor’s reports for various industries.
• Conduct field audits on assigned client portfolios.
• Supervise and guide junior audit team members.
• Collaborate with Managers to meet reporting deadlines.
• Provide financial assurance services and manage special projects like IPO engagements and due diligence.
