As an External Auditor, you will be an integral part of the audit team, working closely with clients across various industries. You will gain hands-on experience in statutory audits, financial reviews, and regulatory compliance while developing a deep understanding of accounting standards and audit methodology in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your new role

• Review financial records, internal controls, and accounting systems to assess accuracy and integrity.

• Conduct audits for various clients to ensure financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, MFRS, GAAP).

• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to each client.

• Identify misstatements, discrepancies, and areas of non-compliance, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Liaise with clients to gather required documentation and clarify audit findings.

• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks, including tax laws and corporate governance requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., tax, advisory) on audit-related matters when needed.

• Stay updated on new accounting standards, audit practices, and industry regulations.

• Supervise and guide junior auditors during audit engagements

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Audit, Risk, & Compliance practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
