About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Audit Associate to join our team at HII & HII' in Kuching Division, Sarawak. As a full-time Senior Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality external audit services to our diverse range of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the success of our clients' businesses while developing your expertise in the accounting and audit industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements and internal controls for a wide variety of clients

Identifying and analysing financial and operational risks, and recommending effective solutions

Preparing detailed audit reports and presentations for clients, communicating findings and recommendations clearly

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of audit engagements

Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the audit team

Maintaining compliance with professional standards, regulations, and internal policies

What We're Looking For

2 years + of experience in external auditing, preferably within a large accounting firm or a reputable organisation

Thorough understanding of accounting principles, audit methodologies, and regulatory requirements

Proficiency in using audit software and data analytics tools to enhance the audit process

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide strategic recommendations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and team members

A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
