Internship for Accounting (Multiple Locations)

About the role

Are you ready to kick-start your accounting career? Cheng & Co Group, a leading accounting firm, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring accountants. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare financial analysis, analyze data, and draw conclusions from findings;
  2. Prepare reports for correspondence parties regarding matters arising from consultancy services;
  3. Participate in the investigation of specific transactions and assist in monitoring litigation and disputes;
  4. Prepare business valuation reports and investment teasers, if applicable;
  5. Develop PL forecasts and cash flow forecasts tailored to client needs;
  6. Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by your supervisor.

What we're looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in external auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
