Job Brief

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to join our CEO Office as a Strategy & Sustainability Associate. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the executive leadership team in shaping the company's long-term strategy and driving sustainability initiatives that align with our mission to enable people in Malaysia to live, pay and transact safely and conveniently.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Support the CEO and leadership team in developing and refining the company’s corporate strategy, OKRs, and long-term vision.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives, including new business models, product expansions, partnerships, and geographic entry.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and financial modelling to support decision-making.

Sustainability & ESG Integration:

  • Develop and implement the company’s sustainability strategy, aligning with global ESG standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Track and report sustainability KPIs (e.g., carbon footprint, diversity metrics, financial inclusion impact).
  • Prepare ESG disclosures, annual sustainability reports, and stakeholder communications.

Executive Projects & CEO Support:

  • Act as a thought partner with the CEO office team on high-priority topics such as innovation, digital finance inclusion, and policy advocacy.
  • Prepare board materials, investor presentations, and internal communications on strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including regulators, partners, and sustainability networks.
  • Ad hoc task as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Sustainability, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • 3–4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, impact investing, or fintech.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and project management skills. Detailed oriented.
  • Passion for sustainability, ESG, and financial inclusion.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high level of ownership.
