Job description

What should you do?

  • Act as the main liaison for procurement vendor registration related matters within the required SLA, including but not limited to: vendor screening / due diligence, registration in database and triggering for vendor profile renewal, etc.
  • Lead and undertake low-value sourcing activities, including: Contract renewals, collaborate with Business Units gather business requirements, service requirements and scope of works. Conduct market research and internal data fact finding, analyse and evaluate commercial submissions, negotiate commercial terms and pricing with bidders and prepare award papers jointly with the Requestor and oversee the process through to award approval and contract execution.
  • Manage end to end Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) issuance within the required SLA within the required SLA in compliance with company policies and operating standards & operating procedures manual.
  • Track and keep proper record of complete end to end processing as well as preparation of SLA report.
  • Validate invoice for payment and ensure complete documents before submission to Finance.
  • Act as the administrator for the Procurement system.
  • Perform on-going negotiation with existing vendors for better purchase dealings which include price reduction, complimentary quantity / augmented services, rebate, better quality products, etc;
  • Act as the main contact point for communications or correspondences with vendors and/or Business Unitss with regards to Procurement process or any arising issues.
  • Assist in preparation of periodic management report.
  • Engage internal stakeholders to explain and promote Procurement governance.
  • To participate in projects and system implementations as required.
  • To support process improvement initiatives as required.
  • Any other tasks that is assigned from time to time.
