Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Focus on disputes relating to compulsory land acquisition, sale and purchase agreements, lease and tenancy, land fraud, and town planning laws.
  2. Able to provide concise and clear advice to clients.
  3. Able to lead and conduct hearings and trials at the High Court and Subordinate Court independently.
  4. Understanding of the commercial and business aspects of the land acquisition process and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
  5. Working on high-value land disputes and dealing with major developer clients in Malaysia.
  6. To work directly with senior leadership and clients, taking direction from the Managing Partner, leading a team of junior associates, and collaborating with internal teams.
Requirements

Key Requirements:

  1. 6 - 12 PQE
  2. Experience in land disputes, land acquisition, sale and purchase agreements, lease and tenancy, land fraud, and town planning laws.
  3. A strong interest in land-related matters and town planning strategies.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
