Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the accuracy and timely preparation of financial reports of companies in compliance with accounting standards and SSOPs under SSC umbrella – Sunway FSSC & Sunway Finpro
- Proper matching of cost against revenue to mitigate the fluctuation of profits/(losses) for the reporting period.
- Preparation of management reports, financial analysis and any other ad-hoc reports to facilitate management decision.
- Ensure healthy cash flow by timely invoicing and collection of fees charged.
- Accountable and responsible for the petty cash float.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the tax information to submit to tax agent/Group Tax and submission of company's tax filing to IRB.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax estimation for Group Tax review and submission to IRB as per required timeline.
- Preparation of Annual Business Plan, Budget and Rolling Forecast with proper documentation of basis and assumptions for presentation to management.
- Manage the financials to prevent cost overrun and ensure expenditure is within budget.
- Ensure availability and review of audit schedules to ensure timely adjustment of outstanding items to prevent potential audit issues.
- Compute Service Level Agreement (SLA) fees and track SLA fees against KPI and Business
- Preparation of SLA agreements to Business Units and ensure return of signed copies.
- Compile and track the KPI and transaction volume of Finance Shared Services (FSSC) to ensure KPIs are met at all times.
- To support incubation of new roll in companies
- Advise management of any potential exposures or opportunities that will impact the financials of SSC, inclusive of tax leakages/penalty.
- Collaborate with other COE (Centre of Excellence) in FSSC in improving the financial reporting.
- Collaborate and get buy-in from COE in FSSC on implementation of cost improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with Business Units, External Auditors and Tax Agents where required.
- Submit authority surveys as per required timeline.
Requirements
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience with exposure in General Accounting or equivalent.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Willing to work in Bandar Sunway
