Senior Associate Consultant, People Advisory

We're hiring! We are looking for a Senior Associate Consultant, People Advisory to join our Talent Solutions team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like

We are looking for a dynamic Consultant to join our Talent Advisory team in Malaysia. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in HR consultancy, who is passionate about shaping people strategies and delivering high-impact solutions that drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients across Malaysia and the region.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring client needs are understood and addressed promptly.
  • Support client workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagements to gather insights and co-create solutions.

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Play a key role in delivering end-to-end Talent Advisory projects, including:
    • People Strategy
    • Organization Design
    • Strategic Workforce Planning
    • HR Transformation
    • Change Management & Culture Transformation
    • Human Capital Due Diligence & Post-Merger Integration
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs that align with client expectations and project objectives.
  • Apply structured problem-solving, data analysis, and storytelling to develop actionable insights and recommendations.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with senior consultants to develop compelling proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations.
  • Conduct market and client research to identify new opportunities and support account growth strategies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, and project scoping documents.

Thought Leadership & Knowledge Development

  • Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, including whitepapers, articles, and case studies.
  • Support internal knowledge management by developing tools, templates, and standard processes.

Collaboration & Capability Building

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across Southeast Asia to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Participate in internal initiatives to build team capabilities, foster innovation, and enhance service offerings.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Approximately 6 years of proven experience in HR consulting, talent management, or related advisory roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Based in Kuala Lumpur, with openness to regional travel and collaboration.
