We're hiring! We are looking for a Senior Associate Consultant, Executive Compensation to join our Talent Solutions team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like

  • Accountable for projects to ensure they’re delivered with quality, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and manage projects with a high degree of personal involvement in delivery to ensure that the project delivers against the clients needs and is commercially successful for Aon and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Good judgement and manage relationships with clients, colleagues, and other service providers.
  • Working with Senior Leaders internally to support in project origination, proposal write-up and project delivery.
  • Proactively contribute to new initiatives and business development efforts, including thought leadership across our Advisory offering which ensures that we deliver the best of Aon to our clients.
  • Perform multi-country projects which includes leveraging on Talent, and where possible Health and Wealth, solutions to design and implement client solutions across multiple HR fields.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Review junior team members’ analysis work and act as technical review for client deliverables.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferably Business, Economics, Statistics or Finance). Experience in statistics, finance, research or human resources field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years of technical experience in executive and reward compensation advisory with expertise in specific areas such as Long-Term Incentive Plan Design, KPI Design, Sales Force Efficiency, etc.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Experience in leading and delivering projects with minimal supervision from senior colleagues.
  • Ability to collaborate well with colleagues across different teams and geographies in a fast-paced, consulting environment.
  • Strong senior level client relationship management and business development.
  • Proven sales support experience and experience of mentoring and leading a team will be an added advantage.
  • Flexibility to work in situations where there is no specific right answer and a willingness to work outside of your personal comfort zone.
  • Good listening skills, the ability to develop insightful questions, and identify and implement the appropriate strategy to successfully address the client’s issues.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, for interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly evolved analytical skills for interpreting data and integrating data to support decision-making.
  • Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel VBA and SQL. High proficiency in coding and macro will be an added advantage.
