Job Description:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to quickly build upon your accounting, tax and financial management experience. You will form part of a team providing accounting and advisory support to international businesses from a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting periodic account closing operations
- Maintain employee & HR records and documentation
- Prepare management accounts, statutory accounts, GST returns, monthly payroll and other expense disbursements, and year-end remuneration returns (Form IR8A)
- Preparation of full set of accounts – months, quarterly, financial year end closing and ageing on accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, note to accounts and all related accounting schedules
- Ensure the reporting and payment process deliverables are submitted to clients or BU stakeholders within agreed timelines
- Comply with accounting standards, policies and procedures
- Understand, monitor, and take proper action regarding KPIs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or other related fields
- At least 4 years of working experience, preferably in the field of accounting or professional firm
- Experience in handling clients’ accounting
- Good and sound knowledge of the outsourcing environment is preferred
- Team player with good communication, interpersonal, client servicing skills and willing to guide junior associate
- Meticulous, attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Abreast with the latest technical and accounting standards such as SFRS and IFRS
- Strong time management skills in meeting strict deadlines
- Functional knowledge of basic Microsoft applications (Word & Excel) is a must
- Knowledge of accounting software (XERO, QUICKBOOKS and MYOB) is an advantage
