Job description

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We are looking for a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, with some flexibility for remote work. As a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and reliable operation of our client’s assets, with a focus on asset management, risk management, and asset integrity. Day-to-day tasks include performing asset condition assessments and coordinating maintenance or repairs as needed. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials science or another applicable field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 + years of professional experience in the field.
  • Understanding of refineries, petrochemical complexes, or oil and gas production facilities.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, non-destructive testing (NDT), and asset integrity management.
  • Experience with risk-based inspection and fitness-for-service assessments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and other technical documents.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as API, ASTM, ASME, and OSHA requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications in NDT methods, API certifications, or ASNT Level III certification are a plus.
