Lion & Lion is seeking a Senior Art Director who excels in design and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role combines strong conceptual and design skills with the ability to oversee a team of designers and deliver high-quality work across various platforms. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in motion graphics and simple video editing.

In addition to leading a design team, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Client Servicing, Social Media, and Production, to bring ideas to life. Plus, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to be part of some of Malaysia’s most happening events!

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers, ensuring high standards of creativity and execution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Client Servicing, Social Media, and Production teams to align on project goals and deliver integrated creative solutions.
• Design Expertise: Create standout mastheads, and other visual assets that align with client and campaign objectives.
• Motion Graphics & Video Editing: Produce eye-catching motion graphics and handle simple video editing for digital campaigns and activations.
• Event Engagement: Be involved in some of Malaysia’s top events, contributing design and activation concepts to engage audiences.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Designer or Art Director in an agency environment.
• Strong skills in masthead design, design asset creation, and conceptual design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Capcut.
• Experience with motion graphics and simple video editing is essential.
• Ability to manage and inspire a team while maintaining attention to detail in design execution.
• A collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with multiple departments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work and motion graphics projects.
• Experience working on-site at live events is a plus.
